3D DIY Mirror :: Easy and Beautiful Wall Decoration

As we get resettled back into our home, I’ve been rethinking some of my spaces and browsing the internet for some inspiration.  When I came across this DIY Mirror Decoration found on Mimi’s Circus it really got my mind going.  By taking simple geometric shapes found at the craft store and applying sheets of thin plastic mirrors, Mette created an amazing wall decoration that could really add an upscale look to any room.

I like the small size that Mette created here, but wouldn’t it be gorgeous to create a really large version of this and create a louder statement piece?  Truly, though, this idea is so fun and would be super great to get the kids involved in.  If you prefer less sparkle, the shapes could easily be spray painted in any color to add a bold infusion of color and shape.

Find all the instructions for this DIY (in English and Danish!) on Mette’s blog, Mimi’s Circus.
