I found the cutest unfinished paper mache egg at my local craft store. Traveling Girl and I debated quite a bit over what we should do to it. We thought about paint, paper, napkins applied with mod podge…
But in the end we decided on layers of our favorite japanese tape. There had to pink a little pink in there to go with our Peeps, which were a gift from the States. We hoped the Grandmas wouldn’t mind if we raided the Easter candy stash a little early for the sake of a photo!
Of course, we had to guarantee that no Peeps would be harmed in the making of these photos…
Oh, dear. This is not looking good…
Traveling Girl, back away slowly before someone gets hurt!
Children, avert your eyes. You are now all witnesses to a crime…
GASP! She has struck again! I think I’m going to be sick. Think of the baby bunnies that will be waiting… Or perhaps we better not? Sorry, Grandma, the peeps were too good to resist! Besides, the pink tongues would have been a dead give away!
