swedish {socker} cake

We went apple picking over the weekend and came home with more apples than an entire army could eat.  On a recent visit with a friend, we ate an apple cake that was so divine that I was sent in near ferocious search of a similar recipe (yes, I suppose it would have been easier to just ask her for a copy of hers, but it was late at night and I needed apple cake.  stat.)  This Swedish Apple Cake recipe was so delicious that I have now skipped two meals to eat it and even had a piece for breakfast this morning.  So, maybe you will not thank me for sharing this recipe, but since it tasted just like my friend’s I thought you might just like to have a slice or two as well!
