It looks like this little guy and I will be keeping the couch warm today since he is feeling a bit under the weather. Though I love the cuddles and hearing him say, “I want to pet you” (i.e. I want to stroke your hair too), I hope tomorrow I can watch something besides the fiftieth rerun of Backyardigans and Bubble Guppies. This is a little outfit he had on yesterday before he started feeling unwell. He said he looked “cool” but I thought he looked squeezable and ever so kissable!

Hope he will be feeling better again soon. I know how it is, our little ones have been sick one after the other and at a certain point I had the feeling I was starting to become a little insane with all the kiddy television and same rituals over and over again. But then I remembered that probably, in a couple of years, I will look back at these times in which they want to lie with me all the time and cuddle when they are sick and that I will wish we could go back for a second or two. And then I just smile and sit with them. It’s a precious time, isn’t it?
