I love meeting up with my girlfriend, Anya, for a quick coffee, but my husband was out of town this week so we really needed somewhere kid friendly. The Laundromat Cafe was the perfect solution because not only does it have a toy area, a great cappuccino for her, and a blueberry smoothie for me, we could also throw a load of laundry on to wash while we chat. Not that is multi-tasking, my friends!
Have you ever run a load of laundry and grabbed a cup of coffee at one place?
We frequent this cafe because it also has great atmosphere, the food is delicious, and there are loads of books to borrow if you happen to be alone… And you can choose from one of three locations in the Copenhagen area depending on where your day takes you!
Now, the weekend is upon us… How do you plan to spend it? I still have a million and one things to do to prepare for Hailey’s birthday party, a maternity shoot to edit, and a box of craft supplies just arrived from Felicitas, so I see a lot of promise for a great weekend! The sun has been shining in Copenhagen for four days straight, so that alone gives promise that good things are on the way!

Funny story. We actually ended up eating dinner here our first night on our Copenhagen visit. My flight landed late and we couldn’t find anywhere to eat at 10pm, hotel included. But we stumbled upon this place, and while their kitchen was closed, the rustled up some hummus, crudites and brown bread – that with some nordic beers was our first dinner in denmark! Had I known, I would have brought my laundry too!
I love the pictures – very cool. Thanks for a lovely day – the Laundromat is quickly becoming a favorite:)
Have a sweet day and see you next week,
Ax
