Solitude is a beautiful thing. Really. I need it and I crave it. The only thing I like to add to solitude is a handful of crafty items and, oh yes, silence. No music. No children asking for more of this or that. No husband demanding to be fed. Just me. In silent, solitude.
Now, before you get the wrong impression of me, let me assure you that I love my husband and children. More than life itself. They are my life and I love being with them. But sometimes we just need a few minutes alone.
Moms everywhere are nodding their heads. You all know what I mean. Solitude makes us better Moms. We get a little recharge and off we go…

Your cards are lovely!! I have to admit I was nodding my head. My daughter is a chatterbox and honestly didn’t stop talking from the minute she woke up to the minute she went to bed today!! (she was off school with a bug). Like you though I adore her, and the rest of my little family, but sometimes solitude is all you wish for!!
