I remember the day I met him like it was yesterday. One tends to remember days like those. It was most certainly love at first sight… like being blindfolded and all of a sudden the world is there before you and everything is brighter and happier. He does that for me still. He makes me happy. He makes me love waking up. Everything still seems possible with him and no matter what is going on around us when he looks at me I still melt. He is so much more than a lover. He is my friend. He knows all of my faults and has seen every one of them displaced in their ugliness and yet he still loves me. I remember the day I met him. I came alive that day. Oh, how I love that day!

That’s so sweet! I feel much the same about my dh – hard to believe there’s another soul that understands!
Awww…. That is just so sweet. I’ve been a lurker on your blog for a few months now (you have a wonderful way of writing, darling cards, and I love all your pics), but felt compelled to comment today. You and your hubby are most blessed to share the love you do. Very touching.
I’m reminded of the day I accidently got paired up with your mother in a high school dance class (a week in gym class). As soon as I saw her I fell madly in love. That was almost 40 years ago and I’ll never forget that moment.
Dad

I remember when I met mine. It was love at first sight even though he was stinkin’ drunk and dummy me didn’t know it ha ha ha.
Thanks for the smile. Catching up on your prolific posts this week, and this is dear.
