Kristina has another color challenge this week and the colors were so fun to work with! If you remember this post when I talked about using the rubber scraps from my SU! sets, then you will probably recognize the card. This time it utilizes the colors from Kristina’s challenge, but I also did not include a sentiment because I want to frame it for Parker. It looks like it needs a sentiment or something below the “road.”

I tried this “boys will be boys” but I wasn’t sure if it was really what I wanted. I was thinking about writing “Love: Mom.” What do you all think? I’d love some suggestions!

I also have a few photos to share with you all. These are all the goodies I bought with my gift certificate when I won Kristina’s color challenge with this card. Thank you SO much, Kristina! I was like a kid in a candy shop!
I *HAD* to have these products by Crate Paper. They have been on my wish list since I saw everyone’s sneak peeks from CHA!

and these too! I LOVE these aliens!

Oh, and this line by Crate Paper- so cute!!

I had the hardest time narrowing down my list! Once I got shopping I realized how many amazing products are out there! I mean, seriously, check out these papers by Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, and Sandy Lion!

SEI knew what they were doing with this collection. Name anything after chocolate and I am totally game!

Isn’t that first bicycle screen print by Hambly Studios so cool? I stuck a white piece of paper under it so you could see it better. The flocked hoops by Chatterbox are super fun too. I like anything with texture! There are also apples by Sassafras and another magenta screen print by Hambly Studios… but there is still more! Woo Hoo!

I loved the letters by October Afternoon and I *HAD* to have the Fabulous Treasures by Chatter Box.

Last but not least are these really cool orange rub ons by Hambly Studios. They have been on my wish list foreva.’ I also thought the Canvas Alpha by Making Memories were another must. The only bad thing about them was that they came in more than one color and it just about killed me to put the others on my wish list! LOL! Pink Paislee has some pretty rockin’ stuff out these days including those press ons. My last two items are the stickers by Sassafras and a very practical but much needed alphabet by Hero Arts.
Whew! Can you believe all those goodies? I’m still freaking out that I won! I still feel the need to jump up and run around the room! You all know that kind of excitement, right? Thank you SO much, Kristina! And thank you, Jill, for finding a spot in your suitcase for everything!
Now, if the kids could just hurry up and get out of school so we can spend the summer days playing and crafting!

Hey Girl! Great stuff you bought. I noticed that you got the flower, butterfly paper from SEI with the glitter. I made a card a while back using this paper by cutting out the flowers. Thought I would share it with you if you were interested!

Very nice! Love the simple graphic-appeal of this card!
too cute! and you lucky girl with all those goodies:)
Too cute! I also keep the pieces from the SU! stamps and make my own little stamps. Look at all your Goodies!
You asked on my blog if we were having VBS, no. This will be our first year not to, we are a small church with a small attendance, so help might be scarce. So we are going to have an all day Luau, with bible study, games, waterslides, food, and snacks. This way everyone is helping and having fun!
This card is so, so adorable! Are you kidding me, you used your rubber scraps to make this?! I knew there was a reason I’ve been saving that stuff in a bucket for the past 6 years!! I am totally going to try this. And you have a gift for doodling–something else I need to try a bit more. Fantastic job on the challenge!
And I love all your new goodies. I am in love with that crate paper monster line–too cute!
Cheers!
You did a great job shopping! I am wanting it all. One of the stores close to me is going to start carrying Crate paper and I can’t wait!
Cute card, too. I always love how you are able to pull of the graphic one layer cards.
I am so, so in love with those Crate stamps! We have a local store that carries their paper, but not the stamps. I can’t wait to see what you do with them.
And this card is adorable. If I ever moved to . . . say . . . New York or Boston, I would totally use that card as my moving announcement.
Absolutely perfect.
Congrats on the win! YUMMY new supplies… Can wait to see them in action..
