I have a mad crush on Crate Paper… I love this paper, don’t you?  It’s still a shock that another four months has passed since we took these photos of Landon.  Time flies when you’re having fun, right?  He’s getting so big!  He’s crawling all over the place and has all four incisors coming in this week (poor guy!)

I’ve been wanting to get back into scrapbooking more, but I am having the hardest time getting my photos printed up here!  Even though Jack is close friends with the owner of the photo shop, when he is not there his workers tend to crop the photos, not print them all up… there is always something.

I’m not giving up, though.  I’m really having fun putting photos with paper and journaling our stories.  I feel I somewhat owe it to Landon since the other two have their first year albums!  But, really it is not guilt that motivates me, but…love…oh puke!  For real people, I just like creating and it’s a good excuse to do it!

The kids are super excited because today is the last day of “real” school.  The teachers told us that next week is going to be one big party!  Parker is going to have a hard time next week because his American friends (that are twin boys) are going back to the States.

It seems like everyone is leaving for the summer!  We’ll be here with a few Americans that didn’t find a way out of the sweat fest!  Ha!  We’ve been conserving our energy consumption like there is no tomorrow so we can run the AC some when the weather hits the high 90′s and 100′s.  It’s going to be HOT!  And if I’m being perfectly honest, I’m dreading it.  Absolutely dreading this summer.  I don’t want to wish it away because life is just too short to not live every day to it’s fullest, but I could live without the hot summers filled with bugs, sweat, and a general stinkiness as trash sits in the heat.

Okay, well, I’m not painting the best picture of Morocco.  I am not trying to be rude against Morocco, but if you are considering a visit, I recommend spring and fall when you can live comfortably without heat or air.  The Moroccans settle into a different lifestyle during the summer because they do not seem to care much for the heat either.  They stay up all night, eat dinner around 11pm, and take afternoon naps to avoid the heat.  They know what they are doing!

Anyways!  Enough of my babbling!  (Can you tell Landon is asleep and the kids are at school?)  Normally my posts are “Hi.  I have three kids.  Here is my card.  Thanks.”  Alright, hope you all have a great Friday!  TGIF!

You’re funny. :-) Reminds me of Egypt. It was so stinkin’ hot there in the summer! But at least it wasn’t humid. And I think visitors are a lot more willing to put up with things than residents. If it makes you feel any better, the summers here in TX are extremely hot, too, and with humidity. PTL for friends with a pool, but we always buy a small one for the backyard, because the boys couldn’t go outside without one. I also purchased a mister a few summers ago, and that helps A LOT too.

We tried buying a larger pool last year and the stray cats and birds kept putting holes it in. It’s kind of a running joke in our house that we DON’T talk about the pool because I told Jack I thought it was a bad idea. We must have spent $100 on water filling it up over and over just to have it deflate the next day. Oh well! We could also join the local swim club but that is $500 a year which is a lot!

Cute cute cute pages!!! I am wanting to do some scrapbooking. I, unlike you, have easy access to photo printers :) So I got my photos lined up but I am just not motivated. Amazingly enough I have time!!! I thought I’d be busy with the babe when I’m not napping but no, I have time!

Oh, I love the first picture. Jovie does that same lips shape. So so cute!!!

That’s funny about the pool. M wants a pool… a bigger one than what she has but uhm, no. We’ll just go to the community center and use the real thing.

“Oh puke.” OMGosh, now you had ME laughing out loud. These are great pages — I love scrapbook pages that have lots of white space. I’ve never scrapbooked before but, oh man, I think I’m getting the scrapping bug. That can’t be good for my wallet. LOL.

Morrocco sounds fabulous! Despite the heat. And you paint a better picture of it than a friend of mine does of Saudi. He keeps trying to get us to go there on a trip . . . after telling us how miserable we’ll be. :)
