I made these cards a few days ago and forgot to post them here. (I posted them on my Flickr account for Cath’s Tree Challenge.) I went super simple with the card so I could add a punch of color and pattern with the envelope.
I think I could make stacks and stacks of these! I think I may, actually! You can find the envelope template here. I bought envelope adhesive from SU! I’m looking forward to relaxing a bit today and hopefully getting some time to craft this weekend! What about you? Do you have plans for the weekend?
Have you all seen The Make Lounge? This is like the coolest idea EVER! Has anyone been there by any chance? I would love to know from someone firsthand what it is like!
Hope you all have a wonderful and crafty weekend! If you find time be sure to check out our second Traveler’s Inspiration Challenge!

Love your clean and crisp card..the envies are adorable! I just read about The Make Lounge…what a fabulous concept!
Ah, simple is good. Love these!
really good, really really really. thanks for posting. I’m going to check out your Fliker. Enjoy the weekend!
Lovely! I adore that clean and simple style. I don’t seem to be able to find such great balance in a card. And the envelopes are awesome, tx for the link!
Besos desde Uruguay, have a great weekend!
I love the simple design and I have to try to make my own envelopes!
Love the simplicity of this. That is sooo hard for me to do, but you totally nailed it. The colors are great and I really like how you layered the cardstock.
Thanks Tina,
I actually just use Sharpies for all my cards - my family thinks I am a Sharpie addict, I don’t think there is a Sharpie out there that I don’t own. Even the copper color on the outside is Sharpie, but it is a paint one or something like that, it has cool color but the marker dries out super quick.
I am loving having these challenges, it makes me branch out!
hugs from here!
Love your card!! Simple is always best. At least for me
The Make Lounge sounds cool. I’ve never heard of it though. Thanks for the inspiration.
Tres jolie!!! Love the simple sweet design!! Gotta check out your challenge!!
Thanks so much for sharing how made the calender. Now that I know you used a punch, I think I might be able to make one too since I wouldn’t have to cute anything myself. I love the photo idea.
wow… thanks so much for this idea - have started working on mine and can’t wait to show you. thanks again!!!
i was just browsing through some older posts on your blog and thought this card was too cute! i just love trees and those envelopes are awesome!!!
