{patience}

treecardsss

There are countless new adventures on our horizon and I find myself trying very much to just simply be patient.  I want to get everything done in a day and accomplish way more than a mom of three kids should even be attempting.  So, I told myself last night that it was time to practice patience- take each day as it comes, accomplish what I can, and enjoy these sweet days with my kids before school starts back and everything gets crazy again!

So, I’m off to enjoy a day of Hot Wheels and Barbies!  It won’t be long and I will be longing for these times so I don’t want to miss out on even a minute of it!  The countless things on my “to-do” list can wait a little longer, right?

You preach it lovely Tina!! Man this is awesome that you’ve had this revelation!! Barbies and Hot wheels sound totally awesome, for me my favourite is Lego!! I sat and played, well built a house with the kids that then turned into a roof top cafe with a wood fire pizza oven!! LOVE IT!! That was sunday and the little treasures are STILL playing with it!!! It does all go too quickly so enjoy, they will remember those moments LONG after we do!! :0)
Smiles and hugs

You have just described one of the greatest challenges in my life–finding that balance which rarely seems to exist. I believe you’ll never regret time and energy given to your children. I am perpetually amazed at how much YOU do get to {I never do}.

LOVE THE CARD!!!

This is so true! It seems like the years pass by even faster as your kids get older! We need to embrace the time together, because one day they may not want to spend time with us! :( It’s nice to see other Mom’s love their kids so much too!

Oh, and the card is really cute! :)

I am constantly reminding myself of that too. I have 3 as well and as I was lugging my sleeping 5 year old “baby” up the stairs last night I said to myself “Where does the time go?” It just seems like yesterday I was effortlessly carrying him home from the hospital. Enjoy your day – You are doing a great job at capturing these moments, both in words and pictures :0)

I love your card! It’s just PERFECT!!
And your words of wisdom…. I’m also one of those, wanting to do everything everyday. It doesn’t work and I’m often sad about it, but I think I should focus on my little girl for the moment…. you’re so right! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and your creativity.

Beautiful card Tina, love the little tree and the buttons. I have a card in my workroom that says ‘Live in the moment, and make each day so beautiful that it will be worth remembering’. It’s a good goal. Jo x

Gorgeous card & I agree with you 100%. Some things can wait, & some can’t. I think my children remember that we played a board game more than if I had their clean laundry was folded.

yes, patience is a virtue! I dunn have kids but I understand what you mean, taking one day at a time is a good place to start :D Awesome card, I love the collage-y feel of it, love the cute tree and the PP!

These times really do go by quickly – I wish we could capture them in a bottle and relive them. I love your sweet little card too! All that color and pattern, lovely!
