She loves shopping in the medina and I love taking her. She sees things that I miss… little trinket boxes and wooden animals are among her favorites.
She wants one of everything… pouf? check! slippers? check! rug? check!
We joked together after our recent trip that her room was starting to look like a bazaar and she giggled softly. Have I mentioned how much I love to spoil this girl? Our friends recently gave us this beautiful vintage Berber wedding blanket. She has claimed it as her own… I tried to steal it for the frashe, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t tell her that it might not work in her little bazaar. We’ve actually been working on a mini make over in her room. Something about her growing up and being a big girl… You all won’t mind if I stay in denial a little longer, will you?

The wedding blanket is gorgeous! I love it when children cross their legs. It is so cute! Incase, you didn’t see my additional comment on figs, check your last post. Kelleyn
Beautiful! And I don’t mind at all if you stay in denial… as long as I can take a seat right there with you. For some reason, last night a Wal-mart commercial came on (of all things???) that broke me straight down to tears. It showed a mother helping her daughter move into her dorm room. The DD was nervous at first, but her mother looked at her and smiled saying, “everything’s going to be just fine”… then she helped her decorate this cute dorm room. They cut to the mother walking away from campus, and her daughter ran up behind her calling “Mooom!” and gave her a huge hug! Oh… All I could think was, I am SO not ready for that… Did I mention my daughter is 5 years old? LOL! Anyway… had to share that story, your post really reminded me of it…lol! Hope you’re having a fantastic day.
I can very well relate to a mom spoiling her little girl:)!
She has very good taste! I love that children see things we miss.
My son is very much like that.
OMGoodness…how simply adorable is your daughter??!!! I’m constantly in denial that my kids are growing up…sad and exciting at the same time, kwim?
she’s so sweet… of course you spoil her!
and this blanket is perfect for her!
happy weekend!!
Oh, she is a beauty!! Love her skirt & slipper collection! She has great taste!
she’s so stylish! i luv that throw/bed sheet on her bed! I luv the ruffles, yes, I think every girl at that stage wants to bring out her inner self into style at that age! I remember, hehe.

I can’t wait to take her (and you!!) shopping! I might need to take out a loan to do it right ; ). She’ll have fun decorating her new room at my house since Liam took over her old bedroom.
I think she should hold onto the blanket
Although I for one would be trying to keep it to myself! Time goes so fast, stay in denial a little longer! I think my mom is still in denial that I am grown up, married and have 2 kids! I love the couch with all the pillows – looks so comfortable!
Your daughter has great taste, I absolutely love the berber wedding blanket she has on her bed. Is it possible for you to send ne the name and contact details for the store as I would love to purchase one for my own bed.
