All my wishful thinking from yesterday must have paid off because we woke up to a cool morning that we all agree is the perfect way to end August! Let September begin! Prior to our summers in Morocco I was never so aware of the weather. Now I sit by and watch every single degree, hoping and praying for tolerable weather!
Well, you all probably care very little about our weather, so I’ll stick to the cards! Aren’t these little snowmen so cute? My Mom gave me this stamp and I have been having so much fun playing with it! I liked the card so much that I decided to try it in a second color:
Which one do you prefer? I am ALL about turquoise but I love the first bright and sunny one too… thankfully, it’s not so bright as to melt the happy little snow family! I decided to try coloring with colored pencils on Kraft paper after seeing Kelly’s adorable card! And it just so happens that Kristina’s Finally Friday Challenge is to use Kraft paper. This is a really fun technique, so run out and try it and let me know what you think!
Also, have you all seen this new blog and their new website? I am SO excited to see more from Torendi! Did you know Torendi means trendy in Japanese? LOVE the name! Pop on over there and check it out!
I will be back later to announce all of last week’s winners!

Thanks for trying your adorable snow family in SPCC’s colors! They sure are cute, and the card is delightful!
I personally like the 2nd card for its softer colours, but the first one is bright and cheery, and I like it all the same! Tough choice.
Beautiful card, love the Kraft paper.
GORGEOUS! love them both! I LOVE Christmas time…..there’s something so magical and spiritual in the air!
I love the first one the most! I like bright on Christmas cards but that is also probably because we are going into spring and then summer! Today was the last day of winter for us…not that I have winter this far north in Australia but from now on it is only going to get hotter…our usual is 40-45 degrees celcius (104-113 fahrenheit) we are at 30 at the moment so its nice! On another note I must get myself some kraft cardstock…
These are so cute Tina. It makes me want to make my Christmas cards now.
So cute! I saw Kelley’s card and wanted to try that too! I think the second one is my favorite, but I like the orange in the first one too! It has been hot here in Texas too, but the humidity is what gets us. It is usally about 80 to 90% humidity and 100*, but we woke up this morning to some lower humidity!
We can handle that!
First one! So pretty. You really make the most beautiful cards!
Very cute cards. I am currently on the lookout for christmas card ideas. I might have to make some of these.
Would have never thought to use this color combo for Christmas…but I love it!

Love your cards!! Of course, the really bright one is my fave, but they are both gorgeous! Those snow men are adorable! Thanks so much for the shout out! I am glad you had fun coloring too! It is so relaxing isn’t it?
SO cute! I love that sweet image in the bright colors best, and it’s a fab design, too!
These are adorable!!! Love the color on the kraft and the fuzzy balls on the hats, too cute!
Umm, both! Seriously. Great stamp…
