travel is {everyday}

We had been living in Spain for almost two years and had been traveling nonstop.  Our normal everyday life was filled with travel- travel within Spain, within Morocco, and beyond.

And we were tired.  The thought of one more airplane home was only palatable because we knew on the other side we would see familiar faces.  And there was the hope that perhaps we could settle down for a while- maybe even buy a house.

We were full of hopes and dreams and our confidence was so great that we felt nothing could stop us.  Surely if we could survive living overseas with a baby for two years… well, we could survive anything.

So we spent our last week of “travel everyday” celebrating with a tour of Southern Spain.  It was without a doubt one of our most memorable trips ever!  (In spite of the fact that it was in the 100′s and was record breaking HOT that week!)

Lovely layout, Tina!! I feel the same way about Canada. Even though it’s a lot closer than Spain being away from those “familiar faces” continually on the road was hard. The thought of settling down was sweeter each time. But God had something better in store. It was winter for us and it had been raining for 30 days none stop (record breaking too) and “we still had fun”. Because we were where He wanted us to be :) TFS

Tina, I just don’t know how you do it. You totally get out there, living your dreams, travelling everywhere you can image, and doing it with kids! You totally amaze me. And on top of all that you create the most beautiful things. I love this layout, so simply sweet! I have a little something for you on my blog today. Hugs, Carly
