It wasn’t a room that she would call her own for very long and no one would have faulted her had they left the walls barren for those three months, but it just wasn’t in them…
With limited supplies they put on their thinking caps and created something so simple, so sweet… so perfect that they decided these paper lanterns were something they must share with their friends!

Loved the video! I remember making ornaments like these as a kid. The Dear Lizzy paper & brads looks great. Much better than my construction paper creations in the 70s. Take care.

1) I’ve heard of Japanese tape before and plan on ordering it online, but regarding the pink tape that you used — Did you purchase that online? I’d like to get some and wasn’t sure if this is something that I could buy at a craft/paper store or online only.

These are so adorable! My 4 year old daughter could help me make some. I think I might hang a doodad from the bottom to fluff it a little more which might mean a string inside so it doesn’t weigh it down but I am soooo excited to try this out. I have an entire pad of double sided paper that would be so cute! Thanx for sharing:)
