So, we are having a little bit of a debate right now in our house. My husband doesn’t want to paint any of our white walls and I have suddenly become obsessed with the idea of adding a little color to the house… even if it’s just a teensy tiny bit! I bought a can of black paint for one project and ended up not using it, so I was trying to convince him that I should paint one wall in the kitchen black. Here are some of the kitchens I showed him in my effort to persuade him…
Here are three drool-worthy kitchens with black walls. I love how all the white accessories really stand out against the dark backdrop. He still is not convinced, so I showed him this photo with pale lavender walls…
He liked this a lot and I found myself suddenly yearning for a pale, chalky color for the walls, but I also don’t have the dark cabinets to add that extra moodiness that makes this kitchen so spectacular.
Here is one last glance our kitchen and now I am hoping you will chime in and help us settle this debate.
What would you do? Go black, go light, or stay white? Would you paint one wall or all of them?
Here are some of other things that I thought you might find interesting for the weekend, too!
This article on the Pace of live in the UK vs. Denmark. Where would you choose?
I have GOT to get my hands on some of this toothpaste spotted here. It would look so cool on the counter!
H&M Home made quite the splash in the interiors world this week when they opened their shop online to US customers. (Their fall collection is pretty awesome, too!)
I loved this video of 100 outfits by Wendy of Wendy’s Lookbook. Sometimes there is just no mystery as to why some people have success!
Have a Happy Weekend!
