I have been so busy prepping for the big project I am working on that I have barely had the chance to even look at my photos from our trip to Lisbon, Portugal, but I finally had a chance over the weekend to catch up a bit and found some of my favorite images of the area where we stayed called the Bairro Alto Neighborhood.  This area is just a little off the beaten path, which is always fun if you want to live like a local when you travel.  The streets are tight, winding, mostly cobblestone, and alive with locals.  If you are traveling with a stroller, this area is probably not the best for long strolls (but then again, not much of Lisbon is) but if you don’t mind throwing on your walking shoes, Bairro Alto is the perfect area to explore and get lost for a little while…

Isn’t this area amazing?  Have any of you been to Lisbon?  What were your favorite memories?

So lovely! I just got finished watching a television show based out of Spain that was set in Madrid, Morocco, and Lisbon. The settings were lovely.
