Christmas Shopping in Copenhagen at Stol & Stage

As I mentioned yesterday, my husband and I headed to Hellerup for a little date, which is just on the outskirts of Greater Copenhagen’s city limits (but a quick ride on the S train if you are not up to driving or cycling.)

We had to pop into one of my very favorite shops, Stol & Stage, because it is a wonderful place to do a little Christmas shopping in Copenhagen.  They have some of the most beautiful things for the home and sell a variety of brands, including one of my favorites, Tine K Home, plus a mix of blankets, antlers, and ornaments at Christmas time that could make even the strongest go weak at the knees.  Here is a little peek at Stol & Stage, a shop I highly recommend if you are out and about in Copenhagen.

Did you see anything you would want to pop in and buy? I was on my best behavior, but since my husband demanded some Christmas gift ideas, I pointed a a few things that I liked.  Since I have a thing for pillows, there were quite a few that I would love to have.

Thanks! I’ve got a new Traveling Tribe post coming out on Monday. I’m curious, what about the series do you like?

We were recently offered a transfer there, which we temporarily turned down. We are going to rethink it and revisit the idea closer to summer for the kids sake(we have 5). We may not end up in Denmark by waiting, but hopefully a Nordic country. I love hearing experiences from moms who have already successfully transitioned their children. I really love your site as a whole, but the posts on Danish culture and your Traveling Tribe are my absolute favorite. I can tell you put a lot of yourself into them because they have a great, warm “mommy vibe” about them that is lacking from the fashion/decor posts. Those are very nice too, but almost seem written by a totally different person. I think I must connect to Tina “the mom” better. Said as I sit in old, comfy sweatpants -haha! :)

I definitely show all different sides of myself and our family here on the blog! :-) Five kids in Denmark? Just bring as many clothes for them as you can! :-) Besides it being a bit expensive, we love raising our kids here and our kids love it too. You will have to let me know what you guys decide!

Beautiful! I don’t know how you can have self control in shops like this! Have a Merry Christmas.
