I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a lovely Easter? We have really enjoyed the time with all three of our kids, but today’s City File tip is somewhere we recently visited with just our littlest. Although some of you may not associate Sushi with little kids, this restaurant, Sticks n’ Sushi, actually has a fantastic kids’ menu. Although there are several Sticks n’ Sushi restaurants around the city, the central location in Tivoli Hotel is our favorite!
Sure, it is posh and sleek just as you might expect, but it has something that really pushes it over the top…
An amazing view of the city that is so serene it will take your breath away…
And if you ask, a view of the trains coming and going from the main Central train station, which might just entertain a certain little four year old who typically has ants in his pants at restaurants!
He ate every bite of his meal… with one eye on the trains the entire time, of course!
We were thrilled because we were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch which was both pretty and delicious.
And just as he started to tire of the trains, we took a little ride on the swings… seriously! Swings! Yes, inside!
I hopped on a swing with him for a few minutes, but this view just seemed so unreal. Does it really get better than a swing ride overlooking the city? It was pretty awesome. And so quiet! I loved watching everyone bustling about, in boats, in cars, on bikes… from my little secret place up high!
And the really great part about Sticks n’ Sushi is that the prices are comparatively affordable. Eating out in Denmark is typically pretty expensive, but every now and then when the mood strikes you for a midweek lunch date… I suggest the penthouse view from Sticks n’ Sushi!
