Copenhagen in the Fall:: The {perfect} Time to Visit

Fall Copenhagen traveling mama-20

Fall has come to Copenhagen with brilliant colors, the scent of wood in the air, and a slight chill. It is an intoxicating mix that always makes me feel so alive and happy.   And although the summers are epic here in Copenhagen, it is this change of seasons, with it’s moody grey skies and darkening days, that really makes this city so darn charming.  Maybe it is the promise of candlelight dinners and long evenings spent near the fire sipping tea and eating apple pie, but here is a little glimpse of why you, too, may want to think about visiting Copenhagen in the Fall…

totally agree – all this rain we’ve been getting means more gorgeous colors – or at least that’s what i’ve told myself. bring on the hygge -we’re ready for fall!

I don’t think the colors are quite as bright as last year and they say the brighter the colors, the colder the winter. So, maybe it will be a little milder winter this year!

Ah TIna! You are making me homesick for Copenhagen! My favourite times were the autumn and when the heart garlands started to come out before Christmas time. So cosy! Please enjoy it for me!
