traveling mama modern femininity fashion I tend to wear jeans a lot, which is to be somewhat expected with three kids to chase after, but my birthday is coming up next month and my husband is hinting around a date night.  I love an excuse to dress up and had the best time daydreaming about what I might wear.

What I love about each of these pieces is that each has a lot of versatility and could easily be translated into a casual outfit for when I am running around with my kids. The heels, blouse and earrings paired with a black skinny trouser would be stunning, the skirt would be amazing worn with a dressy sweatshirt, and the blouse and clutch would be gorgeous with a comfy pair of boyfriend jeans.  And of course a little fragrance is a luxury that every day can afford.

Here are a few weekend links that you might enjoy as well:

I created a no-sew felt bag tutorial for A Subtle Revelry that can be used to give a gift in and even become an electronics case!

These Guilt Free Sweet Potato Fries are calling my name!

My kids would love these Block Candles.  How perfect for a Lego Birthday Party!

I love the little video Ruche created for their new Fall Lookbook!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hey Tina. I love the above thoughts on the articles of clothing and being able to utilize them with different combinations. I’m curious, would you share your favorite snow boots, cozy shirts/sweaters (if you shop internationally w/n US companies) and jeans? I too am a Mom of two who lives in jeans in the winter. We have just up and moved our family from North Carolina to Boulder Colorado and I’m in need of a fashion overhaul for winter wear!
Would love to hear what some of your favorite winter items are.

Great! I will get right on that and report back! I’m on the hunt for some winter essentials myself, so we can shop together! 🙂
