traveling mama dinosaur party-2

Our Parker is turning 10 today which we think is a pretty big deal because it is his first double digit birthday.  Besides being totally pumped about this exciting milestone, Parker is also excited about celebrating his birthday with our extended family (his second time ever in the US!).  We decided to bring in the year with a dinosaur birthday party.  I was kind of worried about how I was going to pull together a creative party without my craft stash or studio, but I think even with a limited budget and supplies, his dinosaur birthday party may be one of my favorites!

The dinos may have been the superstars, but this chocolate chip cookie dough cake stole the show, for sure!   The cookie dough layer is so heavenly, you may think about just eating it with a spoon!  (It’s eggless so you can totally go for it!)

Happy 10th Birthday, Parker!!

I can’t believe you didn’t show us the inside of the cake! Looks yummy! Are the children enjoying their time her in the states, or are the missing their friends in Denmark?

It was so yummy! The kids are loving their time in the US but also missing their friends in Denmark. It’s a crazy combination.
