Can you believe that one week from today is Christmas Eve?  Where did the time go?  Well, if you are running around soaking up these last few days of the Christmas spirit (and possibly shopping like mad trying to make up for lost time) this DIY Christmas T-Shirt is just the thing for you.  Not only is it quick and easy, you could also make it as a last minute DIY Gift.

traveling mama christmas diy shirt To create Parker’s t-shirt I simply painted my sponge alphabet stamps with fabric paint and stamped “Believe” across the chest. (*Remember to put a piece of cardboard inside your shirt to keep the paint from bleeding onto the back.)

Allow the paint to dry and heat set from the backside with an iron.  Now your little one is ready to rock his or her new t-shirt!  I love the block print and could easily see an adult wearing this DIY Christmas T-Shirt as well, don’t you think?

I want to make my own X-files shirt since the ones that they sell online are all too 90′s, i.e extrabaggy and fit like a cardboard box. Anyways, that typography seems perfect for my “Trust No One.” quote. Where do you find these sponge letter stamp. I tried on amazon, only to find just sponge letters.

Ps. Awesome blog. Had to favorite it.

Cool! Thanks so much! I searched as well, but had no luck finding anything online. I purchased mine at a craft store in the states, but it has been a while. I would check Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. I would love to know if you find something!
