If Not Now, Then Never.

Christian Watson

“Don’t look around wondering if you’re doing it right. Be aimless, be afraid and be alright. Be wrong, be lost, wander.” Christian Watson

I long for home and yet it is the road that fills my dreams.  I don’t really know why that is.  Perhaps it is the body that longs for routine but the heart that aches for adventure.

I spent the weekend catching up on laundry, which is never ending and always a massive undertaking for a family of five.  I would have loved nothing more than to have dropped the laundry basket, chucked the retched iron out the window, and headed to some of the places that fill 1924us, the instagram account of Christian Watson.  With Fall fast approaching, these images bring an excitement to the foggy mornings and cool, wet air that comes with Autumn.  In a quiet, heart pounding sort of way, I felt like I went somewhere when all I did was stay in one place.

That is a powerful skill… moving people when they are standing still, but that is just what Christian does.

These images reminded me of our own trip to Switzerland where we slept in a chalet facing fog shrouded mountains, drove in the clouds, and found a Road for the Soul.

These photos made me gasp– simply stunning! They remind me of photos of the morning fog on Cannon Beach in Oregon…so atmospheric.
