Maybe it is because Valentine’s Day is just around the corner but I cannot help but notice all of the romantic pinks around me these last few days.  I am especially inspired by  pale pink and black, which you may have noticed if you follow me on instagram.  (I was so excited to finally find a pink coat on sale at Zara!)  To me, I find it especially interesting to see how the colors can be super romantic and flowery one minute and clean and modern the next.  Here are a few of my favorite images:

What do you think of the pale pink and black?  It’s a lovely combination isn’t it?  I like hot pink and black, too!

I also really like the pink/black (or even pink/dark grey) combination. The black delivers a bit of “edge” to a girlie colour.
Another combination that I am really getting into is grey/aubergine…

Also, I just wanted to add that I LOVE your black/white in your home. Never would have thought that the black in your kitchen would work (ok… maybe it is the chicken in me) but it works so well!

I totally agree. I think that is what I love about Danish style. The black adds edge and a little rock and roll, but I still like something a bit girly mixed in, too!

I also love that colour combo! Just like you and though I’m not that into Valentine’s Day, I love to feel demons with an elegant twist! And I think that light pink with black does that trick! Beautiful images you picked!
