“A promise is a promise.  We told her that if she learned French then we would take her to Paris.

We finally took our Paris-loving-Eiffel Tower T-shirt-wearing-girl to her favorite city!”

I loved our Traveling Girl’s expressions as she stood in front of the much awaited sight of the Eiffel Tower.

jadoreparis-4 One of the kids’ favorite things we did while we were in Paris was ride on the carousel found just under the Eiffel Tower.  Afterward we bought a Crepe oozing with Nutella chocolate and sat on a bench together eating and smiling together as tourists passed by.  It was a perfect  moment!  That is what I love about traveling with kids… it doesn’t take much to make incredible, lasting memories… as a family!

I was there two weeks ago! I am still craving those crepes from the vender that makes them right in front of you! One of my favourite moments in Paris…so I did it twice!

Such a great scrapbook page, Tina — and love the story that goes with it! And, I have to share a little story with you — My next door neighbor’s 3 year old goes to the preschool where I work. On the school/church property is a cell phone tower disguised as a church bell tower. One day after I had gotten Nora out of her car and was walking her into the building she looks up at the tower like she’s seeing it for the first time and says, “What kind of tower is that?” As I start to explain it to her she interrupts me and says, “I know! It’s an Eiffel Tower!” (Her teenage sister had recently been to Paris and had been fuming about her incompetent teacher who had ruined her entire trip by not giving them time to really visit the Eiffel Tower.) Wait a minute. Did I share this story with you before? Man — I’m getting old. Well, forgive me if I did! haha Enjoy your last weeks in the USA!

There must be an unclosed tag in your Embellish Magazine blog hop post, as it does not finish loading the entry. There is no card, no comments link – it cuts after the first paragraph. ??? I love the rest of your posts, but am unable to leave a comment on the hop entry. Thanks so much! 🙂

I love your scrapbook page !!! The rest of my post will be in French as it is my country…

A bientôt, à Paris,
Carole

For the translate, do not hesitate to ask me/your daughter 😉
