We are in the midst of planning a trip to Paris this summer and are trying to hunt down a super cool, affordable and family friendly place to stay while we are there.  While that may seem like a tall order, Hotel Henriette seems to fit the bill and is quite a find as it is an amazingly designed affordable boutique hotel in Paris.  With a beautiful sitting area stocked with design magazines, an incredible winter garden that would be so peaceful to relax in, and rooms that are designed for even the most design savvy traveler, this place seems to have it all.

With local guides to the city and quick access to the metro, Hotel Henriette has definitely caught our eye.  The only problem for us is the fact that rooms only go up 4, so we would have to do two rooms, but since room prices start at only 69 euros a night, it is still an affordable option, even for us!

Have any of you stayed here before or in/near the 13 arrondissement?   Would you stay there again?

I would highly recommend looking into Paris Perfect. They rent the most beautiful apartments in Paris. It might be a little spendy, but worth the view, kitchen, and amenities! We have stayed with them a few times and are headed back for Christmas. They make every part of your Paris experience top notch. Check out their website! When we stayed in one of their apartments with a view of the Eiffel Tower, our jetlagged daughter woke up in the middle of the night yelling – Mamma, the Eiffel Tower is dancing!!

I rent VRBO apartments in Paris all the time and love the city experience, being able to have a meal “at home” if I choose and living in neighborhoods with the locals. It seems like a great option for a family of five. I love the Marais and usually rent in the 4th for the great location and atmosphere.

That place looks fantastic, but I want to recommend you Hotel Atmospheres too. It’s a beautiful boutique hote and I think it has family romos. The location is amazing: between the Luxemburg gardens and Notre Dame (5 minutes walk). It’s also very close to the famous magical street of Midnight in Paris, by Woody Allen. You can walk pretty much everywhere. It also serves the best croissants for breakfast!
