Valentina Fussell Merci Paris-2

The Merci Shop in Paris has been on my Paris bucket list for years. In fact, the last time we visited a few years ago we were headed to it when my husband pitched a fit about visiting a store rather than an iconic Parisian landmark and convinced me to forget it.  He has, obviously, not been let off the hook ever since, and happily found information and directions to the store this time so as to avoid any further sideways glances and hissing.  (Kidding.  Sort of.)

I’ve decided to forgive him, mainly because I realize that going to a store doesn’t really sound like a lot of fun for a lot of people, but Merci is different.  It is a destination, a magical place where design dreams collide and one must choose between French designers, Scandinavian classics, or one of the other perfectly sourced choices.  I recommend sitting down for further contemplation and decision making in either the basement juice bar that overlooks the herb garden or the cafe with modern lighting and antique books.

We’ve got a few photos to share and be sure to click through to view our Video Tour as well!

And now I just want to go back to Paris.  Anyone want to join me?

The photos are so gorgeous! I feel like this should be a Parisian Landmark or maybe all of Paris is a landmark to be visited 🙂 Glad you got to go this time around!
