I came across this beautiful cookbook, called Scandilicious Baking by Signe Johansen, and immediately bought it. Since arriving in Scandinavia we have tried every pastry we have come across and have yet to be disappointed. Not only does this cookbook give some of the tastiest recipes in English, the pages are also full of mouth watering and stunning images.
First on my list to make are the Santa Lucia buns. They are typically made at Christmas and became one of my absolute favorite treats when one of my Swedish friends made them for an international Christmas party we threw. You won’t tell if I cheat and eat them now will you?
