Easter is nearly here and I do not know why exactly, but every year it seems to take me by surprise. Perhaps it is because winter feels so long and then suddenly spring arrives and along with it, Easter. Or maybe it is partly because I imagine as many of us grow older the thrill of this holiday could easily diminish but the message never really does. I love that Easter stands for hope and freedom and how incredibly perfect it is that it comes when everything is blooming and there is so much newness in the air.
Despite loving Easter though, I’m afraid that my Easter Decor has never been much to speak of. I have always struggled with finding a way to bring Easter decor into our home in a modern way. This year was my first time to go all out with an elaborate table setting, and since then I have continued to add the Easter spirit to our home in the form of vintage bunnies and marzipan eggs. Being in Denmark has really inspired me because seeing how Danes incorporate holiday decor into their modern homes is so special.
No matter what your style, I hope you will find a little inspiration today that will bring a bit of Easter to your home.
Happy Easter from our home to yours! xx
