Our Monochromatic and Modern Living Room Reveal!

in Copenhagen, Decor, our home

Valentina Fussell Copenhagen Home-22 I have been working on recreating our home for the past few months, and today I get to reveal our monochromatic and modern living room.  I wanted to live in a space that felt calm, family friendly, but with a touch of modern elegance.  It was important to me that the space felt like it belonged with our family and really represented who we are.  It’s still a work in progress, but boy, has it ever gone through some transitions

traveling-mama-home-012 At first it was very minimalistic with a touch of pink when it was featured in Heart Home Magazine

I hope you enjoyed the little tour!  I will be back tomorrow with more sources in case you see something you would like to have for your own home!

Such a beautiful room – I love the look of all its incarnations, but the latest one is particularly stunning. That black wall especially!

Ooh, I love the black wall and monochrome palette. I’d love to hear how the daybed is working out as a family sofa? I’ve been considering a similar change but am wondering if it’s still inviting for a family sit and get together?

I love your couch and the room is beautiful, but I am not sure I could go with all grey if I lived in a place where the winters are so grey. I need color!

Can I ask where you got your ‘not all those who wander are lost print’? I have been looking for one for ages, but this is by far the nicest one I’ve seen, thanks
