Mother’s Day is just a few days away and though we have suggested art and travel gifts, there is one more idea that I think would thrill mom.   I recommend grabbing her a copy of Paper to Petal,  a book that is pure magic where every page is filled to the brim with awe inspiring ideas for turning mundane paper into masterpieces.  At first I was a little intimidated by some of the flowers (I mean, have you seen these insanely gorgeous designs?) but was so relieved to see that each project is numbered by difficulty so the reader can take on a beginner project at first and then  work her way up to the difficult ones (if she is a newbie like me!)  In the back of the book is a simple step by step guide to creating each project with photos, so for those of you who are visual learners like me, you will be very happy!

Buy mom a bouquet of flowers and a copy of Paper to Petal and she is sure to be thrilled!  You may even want to grab yourself a copy, too!   Pretty soon you and mom can be making paper bouquets for your house, for gifts, and for events, too!  Take a peek inside and tell me what you think…

Do any of you already own Paper to Petal?  Do you love it as much as I do?

For anyone in Copenhagen, we will be hosting a flower making Craftenhagen event in just a few weeks!

Order a copy on amazon and get it in time for Mother’s Day!

What a lovely idea for Mother’s Day, Tina! It would never have occurred to me to even search out such a book. Thanks for finding something special for us.

I just found this book and I’m regretting not buying it! I may go back and get it though!

What a gorgeous book Tina – I will order it now. Funnily enough – I spent the Sat before Mother’s Day at a divine paper craft workshop making paper flowers. We had such a gorgeous time – five lovely gfs creating beautiful pieces – the best lead up to the big day!
