Rumpled Sheets and Dirty Laundry

Being without one’s husband for over a week has the potential to bring into the light several truths.  First, husband dirties more clothes than he washes and certainly more dishes than he himself cleans.  He leaves more things laying around than he picks up and always leaves the sheets in a rumpled mess.  (All of which he would ardently disagree with were he checking up on my blog.)

And then what does one do with these truths you might wonder?  First, Wife must remember that for every dirty dish, he repays in companionship and friendship.  For every article of clothing, he gives freely of his time to his children with lots of tickling, silly jokes, and outrageous games.  For all the things left sitting around the house there is comfort in the fact that there is somewhere THERE, someone sharing life with Wife and that she is not alone day by day.  And who wouldn’t gladly take a little extra work in exchange for a bug killer, bill payer, taxi driver, and noise in the middle of the night checker?

Yes, I think Husband was away long enough and I am so glad he is home!

That was a nice refreshing view. Take care and I’m glad he’s home, I know you missed each other.
