One of my favorite things to do when I travel is hunt down great shops and I was not disappointed in this gorgeous shop in Menaggio, Lake Como.  With a name like Aldo Savorani, a telltale sign that this an Italian area of Lake Como, this shop was not only full of beautiful, Italian style, but so stunning that I knew you all would love a little peek inside.  Plus, I found a room perfume while shopping here that not only comes in the sweetest bottle, but smells so divine that I want to inhale it.  Seriously.  It smells that good!  I even sprayed some while sitting here just so I could have a little reminder and… deeeep breath… yes.  Divine.  Here, have a little look around the shop before I get too distracted with this fragrance…

The room perfume by Mad et Len, a French company, comes in an old school bottle and is the epitome of understated luxury.   I chose the Figue Noire and definitely recommend it if you like a scent that is fruity but not overly sweet.  It has a very clean, just popped-out-of-the-shower smell that lasts all day long plus they sell a line of candles and eau du toilette that are equally enticing.  I placed my bottle in the bathroom by the sink because it makes me kind of all giddy inside every time I see it.

Love that Parka and by the sounds of it, I would have gone for the same perfume! Always hard to find something that’s just right! Hope you’re really well lovely-it’s been too long since I last visited! :-)

Thanks so much for popping in! Sometimes you just have to go for things when you know they are right! :-)

Beautiful bottle!!Perfume de Chamber means ” room spray ” in French , right? Do they sell body spray too???

Oh dear! That was a bit confusing! I edited slightly and added a link to the eau de toilettes! Thanks!

No problem! The room spray bottle would make a gorgeous eau de toilette bottle, wouldn’t it?! I just can’t imagine spending $110+ on room spray, lucky you!!

Yes, actually my husband went back and bought it as a surprise for me for our anniversary. I don’t think he thought through the exchange rate!

Oh my soul, I just hit the link and looked at the cost of the candles and the room perfume. Wow~what a luxury! I was sitting here feeling all fancy with my Yankee Candle products. Haha! :)

I feel fancy with Yankee Candles, too! I would never spend that much money on myself, but Jack very sweetly wanted to spoil me. Guess it’s a good thing I didn’t ask for anything else on our vacation!
