Valentine {wish} list

I have a small obsession with the turquoise color.  I walk into a store and go directly to whatever stands before me in any shade of turquoise.  But an entire house, or outfit, or project in ALL turquoise would be SO boring, so lately I’ve been experimenting with colors that compliment it.  I am also dropping heavy hints to my Traveling Man… Valentine’s Day is coming next month!

What about you?  What is your favorite color?  Is there anything on your Valentine’s wish list?  Please, do tell!

Personalized Initials necklace by Lisa Hopkins.  Lemon Drop earrings by Banou.  Vintage Apothecary Bottle by Solstice Home. Multi Bubble Scarf by Clarice.  Retro Sunshine headband by florabond.  Vintage Sunshine Yellow dress by halfcaf.

I share your obsession of turquoise. It’s gorgeous. It calls to me too.

I adore turquoise. My front door has beautiful turquoise and cranberry coloured glass in it and when the sun shines through it looks wonderful! I love turquoise jewellery (silver) and turquoise clothes (with crisp white shirts and faded denim). When I made baby quilts I often used it alongside purples and lilacs, but it also looks funky with red, and fresh and spring-like with primrose! Nice with aqua too and sweet with pinks. ever get the feeling I like turquoise???? I have to say that it is my ‘inspiration’ colour! Jo x

I too love turquoise, I tend to be drawn to it! We will be on vacation and delivering St. Jude cards during Valentines day, so I have all I need, well maybe something at Archivers too! 🙂

I also love turquoise, but I like pink, orange and brown too. Have you had your Chick fil -A fix yet?

I adore any shade of blue, especially the turquoise/aqua type colors. You probably already know about this site, but if not, you MUST visit: Such fabby eye candy!

Oh I love that turquoise! I’ve been drawn more to the vibrant colours for the past little bit. I’m not sure what it is. I guess I’m growing out of my black and neutrals phase!

I love turquoise, as well. And, I love it with the color red – reminds me of my favorite El stop in Chicago! I have a most fabulous pair of turquoise shoes that I won’t let die. (Found your blog the other day somehow. It’s inspiring to read about your travels with your family in toe.)

You know that color palette you just showed up at the top of this post? That’s my love, right there. Turquoise, green, yellow, and gray! 🙂 I always gravitate toward yellow for clothing though.

My latest color crush is deep golden yellow, with a little charcoal gray thrown in. I just found this little lovely and now I’m obsessed!

I’m a huge fan of turquiose anything (clothes, crafting etc) too. And you know what, somewhere blog hopping, I read that Pantone (THE color authority – lol) has declared turquiose as THE color of 2010. I went to their website to read more about it!

So we’re both in the know now! 😉 Have a great day, Tina!
