in Morocco

When I saw Numero 7, a restaurant located in Fez, Morocco, I nearly died!  It is the perfect blend of Moroccan and Scandinavian design, two styles I hold so dear to my heart!  Fez is only about 45 minutes from Meknes, which is where we lived for three years.  This is just the kind of place that I would have LOVED to have found while we were there, but for now, we will just have to visit virtually.  Shall we take a quick peek?

Are you as thrilled as I am about the blend of old world Morocco with the black and white? Some American friends of ours actually flipped a property similar to this one into a guest house/cooking school in the old Medina (old town) while we lived in Morocco and it took a lot of work for them to get what they wanted… plus a lot of patience and perseverance.

Are you as in love with this beautiful restaurant as I am?  Anyone else want to pop in for a little tagine and couscous?  My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

The black and white is interesting . One would not expect to find a place like this in Morocco.

love it – definitely on the ever-lengthening list of places to visit in morocco. Tend to stick around Tangiers, but places like this beckon!
